**Are you passionate about caring for young people? Have you got experience working with children with Special educational needs? Do you have experience in the classroom?**

Teaching Personnel work alongside several schools within the North Solihull Borough providing specialist support staff to work with the SEN children within mainstream schools. The positions are full-time (monday-friday 8:30-3:30) and have competitiev rateof pay. We are currently recruiting for Teaching Assistants who are experienced working with ASD. This role will include working closely, usually on a 1:1 basis, with a specific student or small groups of students.
- work effectively as part of a team within the classroom, ensuring the children are looked after and learning from the content delivered
- experience supporting children with autism and/or associated learning difficulties
- understand the social, emotional, and academic needs of those with ASD
- commitment to the building and maintaining positive relationships
- a warm and friendly positive approach in the classroom
- be caring, patient and understanding

This role may suit someone from a health and social care background as well as those with experience of challenging behaviour settings, psychology graduates, 1:1 support, sports coaches and mentoring backgrounds. All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
