Seven Resourcing are looking for a temporary SEND Casework Officer to work in Warrington. This position is initially for a period of 4 months and is paying £14.95 per hour. The working hours are Monday - Friday from 9am - 5pm.

**The role**:
You will be accountable for the delivery and co-ordination of Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCP) for a caseload of child/young people. You will be required to act as the key point of contact for families and practitioners and lead on the ongoing reviews of EHC Plans for the child, young person and family.

You will lead on annual reviews of EHC Plans and deal with any issues that arise related to the provision or support needed for the child/young person. This will include the identification of additional resources, funding or support (including from other services within and outside of the local authority) and provision/placement changes. You will ensure that identified funding is in place and contribute to assurance of quality and value for money.

You will oversee any activities that are required to assess needs and develop a plan to meet any outcomes specified as part of the EHC Plan. You will work to ensure that the EHC Plan is focused on the future needs of the child/young person to help them towards a successful adulthood. The plan will cover all the areas of a child’s/young person’s life, not just those aspects concerned about being in a formal education setting.

You will work in partnership with the child/young person and their parents/carers to help them to plan towards adult life and promote independence, choice and control over all aspects of their life. This will include having clear outcomes in the EHC Plan that addresses the young person’s aspirations around employment and independent living.

**Applicant Requirements**:

- **Qualifications**: University Degree at grade 2:2 or above.
- **Experience**: 1+ year of experience within a similar role.
- **Compliance**: Proof of ability to work and live in the UK. Current DBS and 2 x references.
- **Travel**: Clean UK driving license with the ability to commute to and from work independently.
- **Hours**: 37.5 hours p/w.
