**Personal care assistant**
**Rate of Pay: £11**

This lively gentleman lives in WA6 and would like support with activities of daily living which will include cooking, household support, outings and companionship as well as supervising the taking of medication

Experience is preferred but not essential. It’s just as important to have the right values and a caring and mature practical approach, in a job where you can be proud.

*Exempt under the Equality Act 2010

**Overview of Tasks: **Duties will include:

- Overseeing safety in the home and whilst out and about
- Medication prompts/supervision
- Providing/cooking meals
- Shopping and supporting to access the community
- Companionship
- To help and assist with daily tasks as they arise
- To undertake any reasonable task requested by the client

**Person Specification**
- Ability to use own initiative, patient and kind
- Honest, reliable, efficient, confident and a good timekeeper
- Good sense of humour
- Good cooking skills and awareness of healthy diet to support with maintenance of diabetes
- Non smoker
- Driver with own vehicle and business insurance (or willing to obtain this)
- DBS check required once successful
- Appointment is conditional upon receipt of satisfactory references
- Client and current team will conduct interviews

**It is a requirement, due to the nature of this role, that any applicant must have been vaccinated against COVID 19 and evidence will be requested prior to start**

**Job Type**: Part-time

**Salary**: £11.00 per hour

- 12 hour shift
- Day shift
- Holidays
- Monday to Friday
- Night shift
- Weekend availability

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Frodsham: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
