**About the role**:
Joining the Leicester Real World Evidence team at the Diabetes Research Centre (DRC) you will provide statistical input and analytical expertise for a number of ongoing projects. This will include supporting systematic reviews by developing search strategies, carrying out review of articles, data extraction and analyses. You will also be involved with clinical trials, helping with sample size calculations and the analysis of results. You will be responsible for preparing analysis plans, study reports, and the preparation of manuscripts for scientific publication.
You will be joining the Diabetes Research Centre, which is internationally recognised for its research in diabetes and cardiovascular disease, and also hosts the NIHR Biomedical Research Centre, Applied Research and Care East Midlands, the Leicester Real World Evidence Unit, and the East Midlands Centre for Black and Minority Ethnic Health. This post provides an excellent opportunity for an early career researcher in medical statistics to develop a broad range of skills for health research.
