**Job Title: Business Architect**

**Location:Farnborough or Bristol - Will have home site Farnborough and claim expenses (Hybrid)**

**Pay rate: Inside IR35 - £600 - £700 Per day PAYE**

**Duration: 6 Months**

Capture pre received from bid to customer - about advanced materials in extreme environments, purpose of centre of excellence is to gather the best of the best so DSTL can have the resources to have levels of equipment during testing. Solution will be todesign centre of excellence and engage with various bodies and other suppliers to form this centre of excellence. More elements than in traditional framework bid. Expecting customer to release ITT at start of new financial year, requirements have been draftedand been able to form high level diagrams as to what their solutions will look like.

Business development role, someone who can think of solution - more technical requirement. What project managers, what supply chain etc - solution is the business architect on this solution.

Form part of bid response team - solution is a business construct so need someone to define exactly what this is.

**Key Responsibilities / Main day to day duties**:

- Overall responsibility of solution - solution overview for the ITT
- Attend capture activities and meetings as required
- Lead on solution-based discussions and workshops and set them up and run them
- Keep documentation up to date around solution and update with any new intelligence that comes in - competitors etc
- Work with cost modellers to adjust pricing etc
- Be part of the bid response team once the ITT comes out

**Essential Skills**
- Previous experience in a similar role on organising the solution for a business construct bid
- Written verbal communication skills
- Solution/business architecture experience

Don't' need technical minded people with strong knowledge of composites.

**Desirable Skills**
- Defence preferable, DSTL good.
- Designed centre of excellence would be great (known phrase within)

Experience within a framework would be transferrable
