**Job Title: Night Porter - Ffolkes Spa & Hospitality**

**The Role: Night Porter**

While the rest of the world sleeps, you’re holding the fort. As a Night Porter at Ffolkes, you’re part security, part cleaner, part host and 100% essential. You’ll keep things running smoothly through the night, supporting our guests, keeping the place looking sharp, and being the go-to legend for anything that pops up after hours.

Whether it’s helping a guest find their way, handling a late check-in, or making sure the place looks just as good at 2am as it does at 2pm. The ideal person will be calm, capable, and always one step ahead.

Shifts 10.30pm to 6.30am

**Your responsibilities will include**:

- Giving guests a warm Ffolkes welcome, even in the middle of the night.
- Keeping public areas clean, tidy, and presentable throughout the night.
- Performing essential spa cleaning duties like draining pools, checking thermal areas, or testing equipment to keep everything safe and spotless for the next day.
- Handling basic maintenance and reporting any issues (nothing escapes your radar).
- Being the friendly face for any guest questions or middle-of-the-night needs.
- Keeping an eye on security - knowing who’s in the building and when.
- Staying in touch with the broader team to keep everything joined up and seamless.

**What We’re Looking For**:

- Friendly, switched-on, and confident dealing with guests (even when they’re half-asleep).
- Reliable, organised, and proud to leave things better than you found them.
- Comfortable working independently and making good decisions on the fly.
- Someone who loves a clean space and knows the power of small details.
- Calm in a crisis and proactive when something needs fixing or flagging.
- Experience in hospitality, cleaning, or spa operations is great - but a good attitude is key.

Bonus points if you can make a cracking cup of tea at 3am.

**Join the Night Team**:
You won't be working the usual 9 to 5, and that's exactly what makes you vital. The Night Porter is the team's quiet hero, ensuring everything's prepped, polished, and running smoothly.

You'll be working independently around 80% of the time, so it's key to be self-motivated, responsible, and confident in making decisions solo.

You'll work closely with the early risers and hand over to the day team like a pro. It's a hands-on role with plenty of variety, and you'll be trusted to make good calls, keep things safe, and represent Ffolkes right through the night.
