We now have an exciting opportunity for experienced CNC setter/operators to join our team to manufacture precision machined/turned components.

**As a CNC Setter/Operator you will strive for quality and craftsmanship through the efficient running of our CNC Machines and ensure quality standards are maintained.**

You will be responsible for operating the CNC milling or turning machines, loading and unloading components and deburring to a high standard.

They must be proficient in time keeping, work well under pressure and have the ability to work effectively on their own initiative.

**Role Summary**

As a CNC Setter/Operator in our Team, you are required to:

- Work in a safe manner in compliance with the Health & Safety policy. Report and log all Health & Safety incidents that occur
- Improve the efficiency of machine operation through lean techniques
- Undertake daily checks and maintain the machines / equipment as per work instructions provided - reporting any machine failure or corrective maintenance requirements
- Check the work meets quality and technical standards
- Work towards our CNC production schedule
- Work to high levels of precision
- General hands-on work when required
- Cooperation and support of your team to deliver quality onetime to our partners
- Positively support teamwork and circulation of experience within the workforce
- Work with a minimum amount of supervision whilst maintaining expected levels of productivity
- Any other duties as assigned by management

**Essential Criteria**
- Experience as a CNC Setter/Operator with responsibility for CNC operation
- Fanuc and Heidenhain experience an advantage
- Experience of reading drawings and specifications
- Great attention to detail
- The ability to work effectively on your own initiative
- The ability to work well under pressure.
- Excellent attendance record
- The capability to use basic hand inspection tools and machinery

**Desirable Criteria**
- Experience with aluminium, steels, copper, brass etc as a CNC Operator
- Knowledge and experience in the use of quality systems and processes ISO 9001 and AS9100 would be an advantage

**Remuneration**
- 4 day working week, Monday - Thursday
- Aviva Private Healthcare package
- Shift Allowance

Schedule:

- 10-hour shift
- Night shift
