Procurement Administrator

Ideally, you will already have experience of working in a fast paced, food or distribution environment. Understanding of the specialised oriental food market would be an advantage
**About the role**:
- Office based role
- Maintain an extensive knowledge of company products portfolio
- Forecasting using current and historic sales figures, and liaising with the sales team to understand future market requirements
- Manage and regularly review product lines
- Place orders in the stock system
- Liaise with internal accounts, warehouse, transport and sales teams as well as suppliers, customers and external hauliers to ensure the smooth co-ordination of receipt of goods and transit of deliveries
- Stock accounting and updating min / max levels
- Run stock reports and present data to Directors
- Working alongside our logistics partners and shipping agents in order to track all stock movements on a global basis
- Shipping container collection coordination, arranging hauliers and organising deliveries
- Flag all related factors for “end of date” products to minimise company waste
- Timely stock replenishment to ensure the correct inventory levels are maintained
- Manage direct load delivery / direct transport process
- Estimated cost of arrival and true costing up of landed containers
- Participate in company stock takes twice a year
- Recommend efficiencies and improvements of stock control and buying processes
- General procurement team administration and housekeeping
- To carry out any other reasonable task that maybe required from a senior manager or Director
**About you**:
- At least 1 years’ experience in a similar role
- Superb communications skills
- Enjoys and works well with others
- Computer literate (familiarity with Microsoft excel will help)
- Be highly organised and able to multitask
- Upholds confidentiality at all times

Salary range : £22,000 - £26,000
