**Main Responsibilities**:

- **Promote and Sell**: Engage with customers to promote and sell GWR products onboard, ensuring they have the journey they deserve.
- **Maintain High Standards**: Uphold the highest standards in all aspects of your work.
- **Be an ambassador**: Represent Great Western Railway by embodying our Values and delivering excellent customer service.
- **Provide Exceptional Service**: Deliver the best possible at-seat service to our customers.
- **Prioritise Safety**: Always adhere to safety principles, ensuring the safest journey for our customers.
- **Ensure Cleanliness**: Maintain a clean, hygienic, and pleasant environment for our customers.
- **Sales or Customer Service Background**: Experience in sales or customer service is essential.
- **Passionate About Customer Service**: Enthusiastic about providing outstanding customer service.
- **Flexible Schedule**: Ability to work various shifts, including weekends and bank holidays.
- **Sales-Driven**: Motivated to achieve high sales levels.
- **Proactive Attitude**: Possess a ‘can do' attitude and proactive approach.
- **Comfortable with Regulations**: Able to work effectively in a regulated environment.

**Requirements**:

- **Payment Handling Experience**: Proficient in cash handling and card payments.
- **Strong Communication Skills**: Excellent communication abilities.
- **Team and Independent Worker**: Ability to work well both as part of a team and independently.
- **Food Safety Knowledge**: Previous experience with food safety is desirable.
- **Stock Control Experience**: Experience in stock control and ordering is desirable.
- **Location**: You Live within a hour of the advertised location.

Your uniform is provided. The basic starting salary is £27,843, rising to £33,331 After probation
