Front of House Staff

**Overview**
We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Front of House Staff to join our Tearoom team. As a crucial part of our establishment, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, ensuring they receive exceptional service and a warm welcome. Your role will encompass various responsibilities that contribute to the overall dining experience, making it memorable and enjoyable for all patrons.
**Duties**
- Take orders accurately and efficiently, relaying them to the kitchen staff.
- Serve food and beverages with attention to detail and presentation.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the front of house area, including tables, chairs, and service stations.
- Assist with food preparation as needed, adhering to food safety standards.
- Handle customer inquiries and complaints with professionalism, aiming for resolution and guest satisfaction.
- Collaborate with team members in a fast-paced environment to ensure smooth operations during busy periods.
- Support catering events as required, providing excellent service to guests.
**Skills**
- Previous experience in hospitality environment is advantageous.
- Knowledge of food safety practices is essential to ensure compliance with health regulations.
- Strong interpersonal skills with a focus on customer service and hospitality.
- Ability to work effectively in a team while also demonstrating initiative when required.
- Experience in beverage service is desirable but not mandatory. Experience as a coffee house Barista would be advantageous.
- Excellent communication skills to interact positively with guests and colleagues alike.
- Flexibility to assist in various roles within the front of house as needed, including food preparation and catering support.
**Job Types**: Part-time, Zero hours contract
Pay: £12.21 per hour
Expected hours: 16 - 30 per week
