**Your Role**

As a Credit Control Advisor, your role is to ensure that RSA receives funds from businesses and customers within expected timescales, dealing with both internal & external stakeholders to remove barriers to payment and maintaining accurate records to minimise financial risk and bad debt to RSA.

Personal accountability of your portfolio of broker accounts to achieve collection targets.
- Ability to effectively manage a portfolio of Broker accounts.
- Responsible for meeting deadlines surrounding payment terms and making sure any queries are dealt with swiftly.
- Responsible for the escalation and influence of resolution of any old or disputed debts within the business.
- Focus on streamlining current processes and recommending changes where appropriate.
- Business partner with various stakeholders to flag up troublesome accounts and clients who may be having payment issues.
- Identification and escalation of any potential credit risks to the company.
- Timely allocation of incoming funds & reconciliation of accounts systems.
- Adapting quickly to unexpected fluctuations in volume or changes in demand, operating processes, or technologies.

- Excellent attention to detail, organised and able to effectively prioritise your workload.
- Great negotiation, influencing and general communication skills.
- Ability to interpret financial data (across multiple currencies, business areas and policy & claims systems).
- High degree of computer literacy and system proficiency.
- Effective decision maker & problem solver.
