**About the role**
- You will be handling a variety of claims emanating from around the World and managing your own allocated portfolio of accounts.
- Your portfolio will consist predominantly of open market business, with some binder exposure. The majority of your accounts will be placed on a wholesale basis; there may be a combination of direct and some re-insurance accounts.
- For major clients you will be responsible for maintaining the claims relationship, including regular calls, and provision of claims reports and management of Insurers.
- You will be required to meet the agreed Service Standards, work volumes and performance levels in line with the Key Performance Indicators and handle claims efficiently in a proactive manner including the physical and/or electronic broking, negotiations, management of claims and the payment process. You will be responsible for processing your own work in ECF
- You will be reporting to the Team Leader and working alongside the Claims Advocate on large, contentious or complex losses.
- You will be handling claims from first advice to final settlement, via Lockton internal claims systems and through ECF forms.
- Ideally a minimum of 7 years’ experience dealing with complex programme arrangements and significantly so within the global property area.
- Display excellent communication and interpersonal skills, networking influencing and negotiation skills.
- Proficient in using the London market systems e.g. ECF, CLASS.
- ACII or working towards would be a distinct advantage.
