Part time Secretary required for established and respected charity, 2 days working from home, 1 day in their Hailsham office, ideally to be worked Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday but flexible, £14000-17000 doe (FTE £23-29000), to start on 29 November fora handover due to retirement. This is a permanent role, but our client will also entertain a temporary-permanent route depending on availability to start work.

The charity has over 3000 members across Sussex and you will be supporting their members and the Board of Trustees in their activities by being the friendly face of the organisation and supporting them will all the associated administration.

This is a varied role to include:

- Organise and facilitate regular events, including their annual federation event, monthly meetings and quarterly finance meetings.
- Manage agenda, collect Board paper, circulate and take minutes of meetings.
- Edit the County Yearbook, collating entries from all relevant Contributors.
- Maintain the List of Speakers who are available to speak at individual events.
- Oversee the process of 'Posting' communications on a monthly basis.
- Oversee the office diary, to ensure control bookings of the meeting room
- Oversee the appointment of Sub-Committees.
- Manage the overall delivery of the Federation Annual Meeting. This will encompass venue and speaker selection, budget preparation, advertising and promotion activities, ticket sales and all activities required in order to deliver a successful day.
- Ensure that all Office and general equipment are maintained, in good working order and meet all required Health & Safety Standards.
- Organise regular servicing contracts on items such as the Fire Extinguishers and PAT Testing of all electronic equipment.
- Fulfil the role of Health and Safety Officer for the building, including undertaking Annual Risk Assessments.

The Part time Secretary (3 days per week hybrid working), is offering a salary of between £14000-17000 dependent on experience, 12 days holidays plus additional 4 days at Christmas and 3 Bank Holidays, pension and free parking in Hailsham.
