**Web Developer**
- **Job Description**_
Coordinate with clients and colleagues to establish business and website goals. Following up with recurring dialogue and updates.
- Design, build and update fully responsive websites to client specifications using your knowledge and experience of WordPress/HTML/CSS/SCSS.
- Search and implement images from stock websites.
- Design/Illustrate graphics for websites, social media and other marketing materials
- Trial websites across multiple web browsers and devices; debugging as necessary.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of one or more programming languages, such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and PHP.
- Maintain websites for optimal performance with regular checks for performance limiting errors, broken links etc. Updating software and plugins to mitigate potential hacking attempts. Overseeing all backup and restoration policies (business continuity) for all clients to ensure minimum disruption to clients’ services.
- Continually learn and keep up to date with the latest web design trends and best practices including website accessibility standards and legal requirements.
- Document code and activities to ensure business continuity, while allowing other developers to understand and contribute
- **Essential requirements**_
- Knowledge (minimum of 2 years) of Web Design, WordPress, HTML5, CSS3, MySQL & Adobe Creative Suite
- A understanding of technical SEO standards for all major search engines
- Experience in integrating with Google’s Marketing Suite for analytics purposes
- Experience in working with third party access to design and content resources
- Proficient at timekeeping and problem-solving under pressure
- Highly creative with good attention to detail
- Experience in a similar role and agency environment
