Sales Correspondent

**Overall function and description of the job**:
To provide effective and efficient internal support for sales of defined product groups to designated sales areas, and to maintain the highest possible standard in customer relationships.

**Main duties**:

- Deal with customer enquiries for defined market areas (and to deputise for colleagues on other market areas when required).
- Receive, process and progress customer orders.
- Liaise with other departments as required to ensure orders and queries are dealt with and efficient customer service is maintained.
- To support and liaise with sales managers for defined product groups.
- To liaise with the planning department.
- To prepare and send out samples and sales literature as requested.

**Requirements**:
**Essential Skills & Qualifications**:

- Proven experience in a customer service, sales support, or administrative role.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent organisational and administrative abilities, with strong attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritise effectively, and meet deadlines.
- Positive attitude, team-oriented, and proactive in solving problems.

**Desirable Skills**:

- Experience using SAP or similar ERP systems is a strong advantage.
- Knowledge of sales order processing and customer account management.
- Basic understanding of sales documentation, invoicing, and reporting processes.

Pay: £29,400.00 per year
