You will be an integral part of the team and will be responsible for creating learning and development opportunities within the service, address essential priorities and provide clinical education to Nurses and ODPs. You will continue to support standards within the clinical environment and will maintain some clinical responsibility for 50% of your working hours.

This position is based in the Midldands - covering Birmingham, Coventry, Leicester and Nottingham. Ideally, this would cover further clinics, in which you would be provided accommodation and meal allowance.

In order to be successful, you will be an experienced Scrub Nurse or ODP with post registration experience within ophthalmic theatres. You will have an interest in training and developing staff members, and feel comfortable demonstrating your teaching skills. You will also be happy to travel between sites in your region and work from home when required.

Experience in training / educating is advantageous but not essential, as full training will be provided. Excellent time management and organisational skills are key in this role as you will be responsible for managing your own workload effectively.

This is a full-time position consisting of 40 hours per week, which will be worked between Monday - Friday. There are no on-call or weekends required.

There is a generous salary on offer is up to £42,000, depending on depth of ophthalmic experience

Essential Requirements
- Registered Nurse (RN) or Operating Department Practitioner (ODP) qualification
- Current NMC/ HCPC registration
- 2+ years' ophthalmic scrub experience in theatres
- Valid UK driving licence and vehicle
