**Job description**
**Responsibilities**:
- Provide daily care for animals, including feeding and exercising.
- Maintain cleanliness of kennels and common areas by performing regular cleaning tasks.
- Monitor the health and behaviour of animals, reporting any concerns to the relevant managers.
- Handle heavy lifting when managing larger animals or moving supplies.
- Support veterinary staff during examinations or treatments as needed.
- Maintain accurate records of animal care and services provided.
**Skills**:
- Ability to handle large breeds of dogs with confidence and care.
- Capability to perform heavy lifting as required in the role.
- Excellent organisational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- A genuine love for animals and a commitment to their welfare.
**Required**
- Driving licence and own transport
- Availability to work weekends and bank holidays on a rota
- Experience handling large dogs
