Quest Employment in Luton are looking for an experienced CNC setter to join a prestigious employer in Luton. This company has been operating for over 40 years and has a wide range of clients. Due to their continued success they are looking for a CNC Setterto join their team.

Main Duties:

- Setting, Programming and operating Miyano or similar 7 axis CNC turning centres. Fanuc experience essential
- Responsibility to maintain quality of work during production.
- Read engineering drawings
- Setting and programming a range of CNC lathes

This company specialize in precision turned components. Their machines have the capability for milling, drilling & tapping all in one operation. They also have vertical milling machines that are used for second operation milling, drilling and tapping ontheir turned products. They are using a wide range of materials, including but not limited to stainless steel, ferrous steel, aluminum, brass, plastics and some aerospace materials.

A successful applicant should have experience setting Miyano, and Star Machine tools, so being familiar with then Fanuc control system will be a huge benefit.

Working hours are Monday to Thursday 8:00am to 4:30pm, Friday 8:00am to 3:30pm overtime will be available.
