**Our Cambridge based client are seeking a full time experienced Credit Controller to join their friendly accounts team, immediate start available. You will be working within an established accounts team providing excellent customer service and ensure credit issued by the company is paid in full, within agreed time-frames. Along side this role there will also be some general customer service duties.**

**This is a full-time role 8.30am to 5.00pm Monday to Friday and is office based.**

**Credit Controller: Your day-to-day duties will include**:

- **Accounts receivable and cash collecting**:

- ** Chasing late and overdue payments**:

- ** Providing an excellent level of customer service regarding collection issues, customer refunds, processing and reviewing of account adjustments, resolving client discrepancies**:

- ** Ability to handle difficult conversations and manage conflict**:

- ** Coordinate outstanding debts**:

- ** Reconciliation of customer accounts**:

- ** Provide authorisation for new accounts and credit limits**:

- ** Communicate & follow up effectively with the sales department and senior management regarding customer accounts Ability to work on your own initiative, as well as be part of a team**

**Person Specification**

- **Experience within a similar accounts-based role and happy to cover general customer service**:

- ** Experience as a Credit Controller, specifically within AR Accounts receivable**:

- **You will need to be methodical, organised, with excellent attention to detail**:

- **You will need to be confident on the phone, assertive yet polite when chasing payments**
