Accounts Semi-senior

Goldhawk Associates are supporting a firm of accountants based in the Weald of Kent who are looking to appoint an Accounts Semi-Senior. This role is working with the Client Managers within the firm and supporting them in the provision of client services.They are a small local firm who have a friendly and professional approach and want an experienced accounts professional to join their team.
ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES:
Supporting managers and partners as part of a focussed client service team, which will include responding to client queries in a professional and timely manner.
Preparation of Accounts, VAT returns and tax computations from client records, for sole traders, partnerships and limited companies
Prepare financial statements and end-of-year accounts in a manner of conforming to the relevant accounting standards.
Assisting clients with their financial record keeping.
Develop and maintain effective relationships with a variety of clients; including visiting client premises.
Prepare Tax return schedules.
Good organisation of your work, allocating assignments and prioritising and managing your time in-line with client deadlines.
Ensuring that budget and time requirements are in-line with work.
CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS:
Experience of preparing accounts and related business tax computations
2+ years UK practice experience.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Proven verbal and written communication skills
Full UK driving license.
QBE or AAT/ACCA studiers considered, study support can be offered
