Sports Rehabilitator

We are looking to grow New Wave Physiotherapy with a new member.

New wave Physio is a small business in Newton-Le-Willows. We are a professional, agile and innovative group of individuals, trained in the UK, Australia and South Africa who LOVE the human body. Our vision has always been to provide a facility where you can easily access injury assessment and advice, hands on treatment, individualized exercise prescription, sports massage and weekly Pilates classes. We are passionate about helping you to understand that pain and physical injury doesn’t have to stop you from achieving your life goals

This position is for a passionate, hard working and driven BSc Graduate Sports Therapist with experience dealing with a busy clinic environment.

The role will include Assessment & Rehabilitation as well as Sports & Deep Tissue Massage. Excellent manual therapy and exercise rehabilitation skills are required and a keen interest in sports injuries are essential. APPI Pilates trained is desirable but not essential.
- Relevant Degree in Sports Rehab with relevant MSK experience
- Current BASRaT Registration
- 1+ Years post graduate experience
- Current First aid certificate
- Ability to undertake clinical caseloads of MSK patients including post
- op patients with a wide variety of conditions.
- Demonstrate initiative and have the ability to work independently
- Computer literate and able to use digital clinical note taking in line with professional standards and according to GDPR standards.

Hours Available for work Monday-Thursday and Saturdays, including evening work as clinic is open until 8pm.

Part-time hours: 20-30 per week
