My client is seeking a talented individual to join their team as J**unior SQL Database Administrator**. The role is **fully remote** and offers an opportunity to work for a company whose **goal is to help people** realise and achieve their full potential in their careers. **The Junior DBA is primarily responsible for**:

- Supporting existing databases and reporting platforms.
- Consolidating multiple data sources into a data warehouse or data lake.
- Working with senior DBA, ensuring data is accessible and structured in a way to facilitate reporting needs.
- Helping to set up dashboards and reports in data visualisation and reporting tools.
- Proactive monitoring and alerting.
- Implementing best practices.

**Role Requirements**:

- Minimum of **1 year experience** as junior DBA.
- **End-to-end knowledge** from product database to information visualisation.
- Some experience in **AWS** cloud technologies including AWS RDS, Glue, Redshift, Lambda etc will be beneficial.
- Some experience in **Azure** cloud data technologies beneficial.
- Understanding of **relational database** design
- Understanding of data extraction **ETL**/ELT/SSIS
- Can work on their own or in a team.
