**Job Summary**

**Responsibilities**
- Greet guests warmly and provide attentive customer service throughout their visit
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS
- Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities
- Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining presentation standards
- Manage cash handling and process payments accurately using POS systems such as OpenTable or cashiering tools
- Ensure proper food handling, sanitation, and safety procedures are followed at all times
- Assist with bussing tables, cleaning work areas, and supporting kitchen staff when needed
- Maintain knowledge of menu items, specials, and wine pairings to assist guests effectively
- Handle guest inquiries or complaints professionally to ensure guest satisfaction
- Support host/host duties during busy periods to ensure smooth seating arrangements

**Experience**
- Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is highly preferred
- Familiarity with POS systems including Aloha POS, Micros POS, or similar platforms
- Experience in fine dining or upscale hospitality settings is a plus
- Knowledge of food safety standards and sanitation practices within the food industry
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during peak hours
- Background in sales or upselling techniques to maximize revenue opportunities
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to build guest relations and ensure guest loyalty
- Ability to work weekdays, weekends, and holidays as required in a restaurant setting
