We are a small, 23 beds Care Home and are currently looking for a **day shift Care Assistant**, for 24 - 36 hours per week.

We place particular emphasis in helping residents to maintain their independence as much as possible and our dedicated and experienced team is fully committed to upholding the privacy and dignity of our residents.

**Overview of the role**:

- You will be working with elderly residents with complex medical and personal care needs.
- To provide care for the residents under the guidance and supervision of the Registered Manager and Senior Care assistants; and to undertake other activities to assist in the running of the Home as and when required.

**Essential**:

- Genuine interest in working with elderly within a caring environment.
- Ability to communicate effectively at all levels.
- Team Player.
- Willingness to participate in training programmes.
- Level 2 in Health and Social Care.
- Minimum 1 year Care Assistant experience.
- _Able to cover holidays & sickness absence as and when needed_
