**This is a great opportunity to join a growing and well-respected manufacturing business. Our client is looking for a motivated and determined Maintenance/Robotics Engineer who is well-versed fault-finding PLC’s. The role will involve a mix of providingmaintenance on robots/manufacturing machinery and carrying out project work.**
**Maintenance/Robotics Engineer**
- Undertake maintenance activities on a range of manufacturing machinery, including robots (panel building, PPM & reactive maintenance)
- Update and install PLC controlled equipment and systems
- Lead in the automation of cells and equipment in line with company requirements
- Be involved in project work, such as streamlining robotic programs, reprogramming PLC’s etc
- Provide technical solutions for equipment and plant not performing to specified criteria
- Support machine specification, design, operation design, procurement, and commission
- Aid in the management of tools from initial design and modification to production acceptance
- Work as part of a team and actively take part in team activities including continuous improvement programmes
- Identify all operations to improve machine processes, removing any elements of waste
- To undertake any other duties as may be required within the scope of the post and participate as and when necessary, in companywide initiatives and projects.

**Maintenance/Robotics Engineer**
**Essential Experience/Skills/Qualifications**:

- Must hold a relevant engineering qualification (apprentice trained, time served, HNC, HND, ONC, City & Guilds etc)
- Robotics - must have experience working on robotics
- PLC’s - must have experience fault-finding PLC’s (programming experience not essential)
- Experience working on a range of manufacturing machinery, ideally with hydraulic or pneumatic systems
- Previous experience working within a manufacturing environment
- Well-versed reading and understanding hydraulic and pneumatic drawings

**Maintenance/Robotics Engineer**
**Desirable Experience/Skills/Qualifications**:

- PLC programming experience/ability to program robots
