Operational Management Implement and embed of the objectives as set out in the NHS Veteran Aware training programme within the defined period. Highlight progress and risks/issues so they are tracked and reported upon to the National Programme Director to meet governance reporting requirements. Participate in programme progress reviews to feed into reporting mechanisms so the VCHA Steering Group may make informed decisions. Promote a culture of working collaboratively across stakeholder groups at a national level, throughout the lifecycle of the programme.
Support the collection of key data metric requirements which support and evidence the progress and performance of the programme and its benefits. Provide feedback for annual recommendations in the review of all internal national documentation. Support where appropriate, the NHS Veteran Aware project delivery team to deliver the strategic aims of accreditation in all NHS England secondary and specialist NHS trusts across the seven NHS England regions. Support in the development of training and educational business plans and to support the implementation of the VCHA strategy and terms of references.
Provide guidance and tools to support the VCHA team to work collaboratively across all projects. Support the National Training Lead in the delivery of VCHAs strategic aims nationally. Provide feedback for the National Training Lead for the development of the VCHAs programme and its development of projects to support the overarching vision. Be accountable for the core VCHA aims to ensure that the Alliance supports and meets the needs of members and stakeholders.
