A Specialist Provision in Corby is looking to recruit an additional full-time 1:1 Support Assistants which caters for pupils with SEMH/ASD/PMLD. The school are looking to secure a proactive, kind natured individual who ideally has experience supporting/working with those who have special educational needs and can display challenging behaviours. Members of the Senior Leadership Team have said they would like to consider individuals for the roles with any relevant experience whether it be personal, withincare, within the prison service, or within education.

The Role

You are expected on a full-time, long-term basis to provide 1:1 support for a primary pupil.The school focuses on the individual needs for each child therefore you would be expected to work closely with the SENCO and the class teacher as the individualrequires a differentiated approach to optimise their learning.

The School

The school provides social emotional and health support to young people within Corby with both primary and secondary age pupils. Young people are referred via health professionals or home school. The school believe that all their pupils are entitled to thevery best education, through a developed personalised curriculum, delivered by highly dedicated, experienced and qualified staff.
