**About us**:
This modern purpose built nursery boasts large air conditioned rooms, two custom built all weather outside play area's with water pumps and bike track. Located within the Orbital Plaza complex which houses the Holiday Inn Hotel, south of Cannock town centre, we have excellent transport links to the nearby A5, M6, Toll Rd etc.

**Position**:
**_Room Senior Nursery Practitioner
- 40 hours a week_**

**Responsibilities**:

- Deliver learning experiences and planned activities for a key group that provides outstanding opportunities for the children
- Supporting and supervising the room based staff, and assisting with the planning of activities in a designated area of the nursery.
- Providing feedback to the Duty/Deputy Manager on issues relating to the nursery day.
- To ensure that the Ofsted standards including EYFS is followed at all times.
- Offering all children equal opportunities with regard to their religious persuasion, racial origins, gender, disabilities, cultural or linguistic background

**Required Education, Skills and Qualifications**

**What we need from you?**
- Passion and commitment for working in childcare
- Ability to work shifts between 7.30- 6:30pm Monday to Friday up to 40 hours per week
- Commitment to continual development
- NNEB, BTEC Nat Dip, CACHE Dip in Childcare, NVQ level 3, EY Educator

Please note the nursery is open from 7:30am-6:30pm, Monday to Friday, shift patterns will be rotating within these opening hours. Please make sure you can commit to early and late shifts before applying.
- **Wage is competitive and dependent on experience, qualifications and hours worked, and will be discussed at interview stage. A signing bonus will be given to all successful, qualified applicants upon commencement at Footsteps.**_

**Salary**: £9.93-£10.08 per hour
