**Supply Chain Manager**

**This is a great opportunity to join a growing and well-respected engineering business. They are looking for a Supply Chain Manager on a permanent basis. Within this role you will be responsible for Coordinating and managing procurement activities aswell as supplier evaluations. Ensuring the business has the highest standard suppliers, this will include managing sub-contract development agreements with technology providers.**
**Supply Chain Manager**
- Establishing strong business relationships with key suppliers to overall improve supply chain performance in line with company objectives
- Manging supplier performance
- Liaising and working closely with engineering functions within the business to establish technology partnership agreements
- Supporting supplier selection and management of subcontract engineering businesses
- Working with existing and new suppliers to achieve the most efficient cost, quality and delivery targets. Overall increasing business profitability.
- Negotiating with key suppliers regarding long-term purchase orders/contracts to ensure delivery of critical customer contracts
- Managing RFQ process for new product development
- Forecasting cash flow to support payment term negotiations
- Manage the procurement team and support them in Material Buying, strategic supply chain management and procurement for new products.

**Essential Experience/Skills/Qualifications**:

- Must have supply chain or purchasing experience within a manufacturing environment
- Previous team management experience
- Strong negotiation experience

**Supply Chain Manager**
**Desirable Experience/Skills/Qualifications**:

- Subsea/Robotics systems experience.
