**A bit about the role**
- Log all calls to the Service Desk Call logging system, ensuring that business needs for high standards of service are met
- Provide support in accordance with a predefined incident management process
- Take ownership of user problems and follow up the status of problems on behalf of the user, communicate progress in a timely manner
- Escalate unresolved calls where necessary to the wider support team based on root cause analysis of the issue
- To arrange for external technical support where problems cannot be resolved in house
- Maintain a high degree of customer service for all support queries and build effective relationships with internal colleagues
- Track, manage and procure I.T assets that fall within the scope of the Service Desk, ensuring value for money
- Demonstrate the People values through what I do and how I do it

**We’re looking for someone who has**:

- Previous I.T service desk experience or a good technical capability with proven customer service skills
- An excellent time manager who can work well under pressure
- A ‘make it happen’ approach and enjoys a fast pace and dynamic environment
- An amazing stakeholder manager and relationship builder, establishing productive internal and external relationships
- An affinity with our brand and is an authentic ambassador of our people values
