A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Funds Paralegal to join an elite US law firm in the City of London.
The Funds team at this firm dominate the big-ticket buyout space, advising on some of the largest European fund formation mandates. This firm offers fund managers a top platform for £multi-billion launches in London, along with innovative structuring solutions.Their enviable client list includes the largest private equity firms in Europe.
The firm are a very exciting place to be; they’ve gone through a real period of growth through a number of high profile lateral hires and their deals are some of the largest and most complex on the market.
They are a dynamic and agile firm with an extremely collegiate culture and operate a true open door policy (when they’re in the office - they operate a hybrid working policy). In terms of progression, the firm have just begun supporting paralegals in theirqualification via the SQE. I know, it sounds too good to be true
**The role**:

- Preparing initial limited partnership agreements and registration documentation for new investment vehicles
- Performing statement verification tasks for each new funds private placement memorandum
- Drafting related AIFMD disclosures
- Reviewing subscription documentation from investors investing in clients’ funds
- Maintaining multiple trackers and checklists on various aspects of the funds process (including subscription documents, side letters and comment memos) for a significant number of investors in order to provide a continually updated status of each investorto attorneys and clients
- Preparing and submitting Companies House filings
- Drafting corporate authorisations, liaising with specialist regulatory counsel
- Carrying out winding up / insolvency searches
- Preparing opinion and closing bibles

**About you**:

- Educated to GDL or LLB level, or equivalent
