Farm Foreman

H R Bourn & Sons is a large scale farming business in Lincolnshire covering 12,000 acres, operating on a 12m controlled traffic farming system. We are a forward thinking, progressive farm with an exciting opportunity arising for a _**Farm Foreman **_to work closely with the Farm Owners and Farm Manager.

The role and personal qualities include:

- A proactive attitude and ability to lead a skilled team from the front
- Capable of problem solving and working on your own initiative
- Outstanding logístical skills, allied with an eye for detail
- Must be computer literate, with ability to keep immaculate records
- Maintain Health & Safety standards across the business
- Daily organisation of the team and machinery resources
- Organisation and implementation of the maintenance schedule across the machinery fleet
- Supervision of management of crops in store
- A sound knowledge of GPS Systems and their workings
- A basic understanding of Countryside Stewardship and SFI Schemes
- Some livestock experience (beef suckler herd) would be advantageous
- Ongoing professional and technical development will be available

Pay: £40,000.00-£51,706.89 per year
