Role: Vehicle Prep Technician
Location: Bristol
**Salary**: £22,000 - £28,000 + OTE
Our client is currently looking to recruit a Vehicle Prep Technician to join their team in Bristol.
The role will involve:
- Preparing used vehicles to Porsche Approved Standards carrying out an initial 111-point check to identify work required to comply with Manufacturer’s recommendations including vehicle campaigns
- Carry out 4-wheel alignment to every vehicle
- Liaise with the Workshop and Preparation controller to gain authority to complete identified work
- Carry out visual body inspections and report findings to Prep Controller
- Flexibility will be required as there may be times you are asked to cover retail work opportunities
- You will be trained to carry out new vehicle pre delivery inspections
To be considered for the role, you will have the following:
- Practical knowledge of modern diagnostic equipment / techniques.
- High levels of IT literacy critical.
- The ability to work in a busy environment and provide degrees of flexibility for extended hours where required.
- A high level of enthusiasm and self-motivation.
- Great communication skills with ability to communicate, work and share best practice within a team.
