London, United Kingdom SME Graduate Employment Ltd Full time

Do you enjoy working with data, have a logical mindset, and a 2:1 in a degree such as Mathematics, Economics, Physics, or Data Science? This role could be ideal...

This consultancy works with data and analytics to help household name businesses to understand their customers better. They have a great record of employing graduates, and are now looking to add another to their Data Science team.

The role will have a strong focus on delivering regular analytics support to the clients by working with their data and understanding their business challenges to deliver clear actionable results.

At first you will be more focused on the support side, for example building dashboards, but in time you can work towards project management and predictive analytics. You will be working with a range of data including digital, and customer databases.

You will also be identifying and extracting, or developing ETL requirements, on relevant datasets for business intelligence reporting as well as advanced statistical modelling.

Working alongside Senior Data Scientists, you will also be developing and growing your skills in more advanced analytics, including working with machine learning algorithms across a range of services and learning how to productionise models in end-to-endsolutions.

Strong coding skills are required, and you should have knowledge of at least one of SQL, Python, or R coding. You can then be trained in the others. However, if you have used Matlab for example that is also ok, as you will have the aptitude to learn. Somedigital experience is preferred.

Some knowledge of visualisation BI tools such as Tableau, Power BI or Looker would be ideal.

You will also be utilising web analytics tools including Google Analytics or Adobe Analytics.

At times you will be travelling to the other business site to mix with the team there, including working on projects together.

And you will also be visiting clients at times
- though most of these are in London. This will include communicating recommendations based on data analysis. You will also be in regular contact with the clients, passing on updates etc. So you must be happycommunicating with people.

Fairly central location (south of the river).
