**Salary**: £28,000 p/a pro rata for part-time, plus potential to earn a bonus, and an excellent benefits package.
**Hours**: Full-time / part-time / job share up to 40 hours per week, including evenings and weekends.
UK driving licence preferred for potential travel to other stores.

We have an exciting opportunity for a motivated, friendly, hands-on SPAR Store Manager who is passionate about providing excellent service and standards to our customers. Reporting directly to the Area Manager, you will drive maximum sales and profit through continuous store improvement and staff development while achieving great Key Performance Indicator (KPI) results.

**Key Tasks/Responsibilities**:

- Deliver customer service aligned with SPARkling Service standards.
- Be fully aware of Key Result Areas and contribute to their enhancement.
- Generate ideas to drive business and team growth.
- Monitor competitor activity and propose suitable responses.
- Develop a motivated, empowered team through positive management.
- Handle staff recruitment, planning, and training.
- Ensure security of people, stock, and cash using established processes.
- Ensure compliance with legislation, health, and food safety responsibilities.

**Store Manager Skills Required**:

- Essential prior supervisory or managerial experience in a food retail environment (or similar).
- Ability to deliver scheduled training and development to required standards.
- Understanding of budgets, targets, and the ability to work towards their improvement.
- Basic knowledge of health, food safety, and legislative responsibilities in a retail environment, with skill in managing those responsibilities.
