Job Title Vehicle Technician
£10.50ph-£11.50, 20 days leave + stats (increases over time to 23+stats), 7.30am-4pm Mon-Fri with overtime, Training, Parking, Temp-to-Perm
Job Role Due to a sudden influx of orders based on quotations made prior to the pandemic this vehicle converter has a number of exciting
opportunities for the workshop and as such includes a vehicle technician/body builder to join them, you will provide assistance with the conversion of a range of vehicles that includes:
- Fitting heaters and windows into vehicles
- Assembly of sub frames
- Assembly of beds and head boards
- Fitting vehicle accessories & safety equipment (hand washers/lights etc)
- Assembling/ Building Tail lifts
- Height safety bars/structures
- Cutting aluminium and other items
- Measuring, drilling and preparation of equipment for installation
- Reading and understanding drawings
Requirements We would expect the successful vehicle technician/body builder to be able to demonstrate a good working knowledge of vehicle conversions, including the cutting out of windows, assembling of a range of parts mig welding and fabrication on aluminiumand mild steel, this would be an ideal role if you have previously worked in a welding, fabrication or plating position.
