Our client, a niche financial services provider has an excellent opportunity for a Project Manager to join their change team, supporting the Head of Portfolio Delivery in the management and successful delivery of projects.
Main duties of the Project Manager will include: -- Supporting the Head of Portfolio Delivery in developing and maintaining the portfolio roadmap.
- Work with all stakeholders to manage requirements and align project plan to strategic goals.
- Build and maintain the project plan, monitoring and controlling activity to ensure timely delivery.
- Responsible for management and escalation of risks and issues.
- Actively identify and manage dependencies both within projects and across the wider portfolio
- Define success metrics - baseline at the beginning of projects and use these to measure benefits.
- Drive the day-to-day delivery activities across the project, from initial shaping and mobilisation through to testing, deployment and post go live support.
- Support business analysis as required, including requirements gathering, analysis and identification of ways to streamline and design an improved customer journey and internal processes.
- Help shape the change methodology, constantly looking for ways to optimise and enhance this.
- Build strong relationships with stakeholders from across the business and provide updates as required to the Executive, Management Board and the Change, IT and Data teams.
- Design and execute communication plans for both internal and external parties.
- Previous business analyst experience.
- Good working knowledge of waterfall, agile or hybrid.
- Ideally experience of the retail banking/mortgage industry.
- Good understanding of technology and the technology delivery cycle.
