A full time Service Advisor is required to run the front desk/workshop.

ESSENTIAL to have previous Motor Trade experience to be able to fulfil the role criteria’s.

**Responsibilities**:

- Advising on technical issues
- Managing a computerised booking system
- Pricing of all workshop jobs
- Ordering parts from competitive suppliers for quality product and best value for customers
- Raising job cards and issuing to the technicians
- Informing customers of the progress of their vehicle
- Work independently
- Have excellent customer service skills in person and on the telephone
- Be very good with computers and be able to adapt to a motor trade programme
- Extremely organised with excellent attention to detail.

Must Have
- Motor trade experience in a Service Advisor/Reception role or workshop controller
- Vehicle technical knowledge

About Us

Mayflower Auto Services are one of the largest independent garages in Plymouth and the surrounding areas, operating for over 20 years. We have a fully equipped workshop including 2 MOT bays, tyre store and parts shop. We are a RAC referral garage and a Servicesure Centre.

We do not upsell, no pressure sales, our ethos is to give our customers a fair and reasonable price for the work they require and request, with a focus on providing an excellent service.

Salary is £24,000 pa plus DOE, opportunity to further enhance long term to Service Manager. (no targets are needed to be met for the salary)

Hours to be discussed but will involve Monday - Friday 8.00am to 5.00pm (and some Saturday's when open during the Summer period).
