The Compliance Analyst will support the delivery and oversight of the organisations compliance and conduct policies, standards and strategy whilst providing meaningful data to support the department and wider stakeholders with relevant compliance MI, utilisedfor regulatory and operations purposes.

You will co-ordinate reporting, analysis and administration activities whilst interrogating data sets to identify trends that will support compliance planning.

**Key activities**:

- Analysing and investigating business data (including complaints, risk and controls and event MI) to identify trends, risks and concerns to support data led compliance oversight
- Co-ordinating and drafting reports, summarising activity the team has taken, observations, risks and concerns
- Co-ordinating annual policy compliance including collation and analysis of evidence, monitoring of annual training completion, and drafting of annual compliance statements
- Managing policy related processes including updating records and monitoring compliance relating to the Senior Manager’s Regime, Conflicts of Interest and Data Protection
- Support internal stakeholders to respond to FCA requests for data.
- Support colleagues in the creation of responses to regulatory consultation papers as required
- Act as an enthusiastic and engaging representative of the team, encouraging open dialogue with all colleagues to engender trust and drive continuous improvement
- Review and challenge existing reporting mechanisms and formats to ensure that Compliance MI is engaging, visual and clearly directs the recipient to the key areas of concern or interest
- Work closely with Compliance colleagues to provide administrative and analytical support across wider team activities
- Work with management to identify and meet the department’s data requirements to pre-defined deadlines

**Skills & experience**:

- Co-ordinating and drafting reports, summarising activity the team has taken, observations, risks and concerns

- Managing policy related processes including updating records and monitoring compliance relating to the Senior Manager’s Regime, Conflicts of Interest and Data Protection
- Strong analytical & data skills, demonstrate an ability to create and analyse data sets within Excel
- Be analytically focused and detail conscious
- Ability to analyse multiple data sources to identify key risk trends
- Develop own and others’ technical compliance knowledge on an ongoing basis
