Teconnex is a privately owned global manufacturing business. UK site based in Keighley, West Yorkshire Due to continued growth we now require an Electrical Engineer to support the existing Maintenance Supervisor for Process Automation, Safety systems, PLC,HMI interfaces and process optimization.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Working with maintenance and engineering team to improve machinery performance and efficiency.
- Providing technical support for all aspects of machinery and automation.
- Working alongside other departments with involvement on projects from conception to installation and commissioning on site.
- Design, installation, testing, commissioning of small machinery upgrades, Productivity upgrades and Quality improvement projects.
- Rewiring machines to include fitting new control systems.
- Installation of single and three phase electrical systems
- Knowledge of measuring and inspection systems, including installation programming and integration into automation systems
- Working with Production Engineering and TIE to improve data acquisition and work toward a more connected factory.
- Mentor to existing Electricians and Maintenance team
- Setting and raising standards of Electrical Safety across the site.
- On occasion, the role will involve some international travel to our other manufacturing sites.

**The Person**
- Time served Engineer with recognised electrical qualifications coupled with high level of practical experience.
- 18th Edition wiring regulations.
- You will be a highly skilled engineer with significant practical knowledge and experience, ideally with detailed comprehension of automation and machine interface systems.
- Ability to read, integrate electrical systems for fault finding.
- Knowledge of the latest machinery safety standards and the machinery directive.
- Working knowledge of motion control systems.
- Ability to inspect Electrical systems, equipment and components to identify condition and replace as required.
- Experience in design and installation of electrical control systems and machinery design would be advantageous.
