Tractor Driver

We require an experienced driver to operate a land train which runs a route around the grounds of a popular local attraction.

Duties and Responsibilities:

- Driving of the land train, and sticking to the designated route and schedule
- Ensuring safety of passengers
- Selling tickets
- Adhere to work practises, training and induction
- Providing a warm, effective and efficient service to customers
- General daily maintenance and re-fueling of tractor and trailers
- Maintain a good appearance and presentation at all times
- Carry out any other reasonable duty within the function of the job

Essential skills:

- Good oral communication skills. Able to communicate with customers and colleagues
- Good interpersonal skills and customer facing skills: able to respond politely to customers in a sometimes pressured environment. Able to display politeness and patience in a professional manner and deal with unhappy customers
- Confidence to deal with situations and know when to ask for guidance from supervisors
- Good working attitude
- A good level of physical fitness and ability to undertake manual work
- Clean drivers licence (non-negotiable)
- Tractor Driving with trailed Implements Certificate

Other desirable skills:

- Knowledge of tills
- Cash handling experience
