**You’ll be responsible for**:

- Collaborating with business analysts and wider business teams to produce a set of defined product outcomes to deliver. Outcomes will be both technical (to be delivered by your software development squad) and business.
- Owning and managing the backlog of a software development squad, ensuring delivery to time, cost and quality.
- Delivering business change, supporting business owners to ensure that all product outcomes, both technical and business, are delivered.
- Hosting and facilitating scrum ceremonies for your squad. Participating in broader planning and review ceremonies e.g. big room planning.
- Working with stakeholders to prioritise your backlog and sprint plans against business objectives.
- Collaborate with business analysts, architects and other stakeholders to deliver transformation outcomes.
- Develop scope and define backlog items (features/user stories) for your software development squad.
- Creating, maintaining and clearly communicating your backlog, ensuring updates are made on time and to standard in relevant reporting tools e.g. Jira.
- Ensuring your squad’s work is transparent, visible and well understood.
- Early identification and communication of blockers, bottlenecks and risks.
- Tracking progress and communicate status to management and project stakeholders.
- Proactively managing underperformance of any squad members with the relevant managers within the software development team.
- Support the wider function by contributing to best practices, processes and principles to ensure success and improvement of the team

**Skills & Experience**:
**Required skills**:

- Experience as a Product Owner in an agile (scrum) environment, demonstrating capability both in technical and business change.
- Proven strong cross-team and cross-organisation stakeholder management.
- Experience with digital transformation projects.
- Experience working as a software developer or a business analyst.
- Ability to influence, motivate, and align people across a broad variety of job functions through your relationships.
- Experience using Atlassian Jira and Confluence.
- Excellent problem solving skills.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Strong organisational & time management skills.
- Self-starter with a growth mindset.

**Preferred skills**
- Telecoms experience.
- Scrum / Agile certification.
- Project management experience or certification.
