We are currently seeking dedicated and professional Security Officers to join our team for an exciting new client site in Chelmsford, Essex. Successful applicants will have the opportunity to cover a single site, playing a crucial role in maintaining the safety and security of the facility while delivering exceptional service.

**Responsibilities**:

- Perform gatehouse duties, ensuring smooth vehicle entry and exit processes while maintaining strict control measures.
- Accurately record vehicle details, update paperwork, and ensure compliance with client requirements and company protocols.
- Regularly inspect the site's premises, monitoring access points and conducting security checks as necessary.
- Conduct thorough patrols of the facility, including indoor and outdoor areas, to detect and deter potential security threats.
- Respond promptly to any incidents, emergencies, or alarms, following established procedures and providing necessary assistance.
- Adhere to all security protocols and company policies, fostering a safe and secure environment for all occupants.
- Provide excellent customer service, assisting visitors, clients, and employees with inquiries or concerns in a professional manner.

Qualifications:

- A valid SIA license (Security Industry Authority) is mandatory. Applicants without an SIA license will not be considered.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to accurately handle paperwork and update systems.
- Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with colleagues, visitors, and clients.
- Ability to remain calm and composed in high-pressure situations, making sound judgments and quick decisions.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing security requirements and work collaboratively with the team.
- Full training will be provided for the specific site and duties.

Remuneration:

- The base pay rate for this position is competitive, with pay between £13.00 and £14.42 per hour.
- Additional benefits and shift differentials may be offered.
