Credit Controller

We are looking for a Credit Controller to join our Finance team at our Head Office based in Devizes.

**Duties will include**:

- First point of contact for customer queries
- Liaise with Sales Director and Sales team to address customer queries that may be delaying payment of invoices
- Updating customer account details (address, contact name and number etc)
- Set up new customer accounts and Direct Debits
- Monitoring and chasing outstanding debt, working with customers to resolve issues promptly
- Update and manage credit control information and customer account on Access system
- Mail Merge correspondence as required
- Other ad-hoc accounts duties as required; including supporting others in the team during busy periods or absence if required.

**Ideally, you will have**:

- Previous customer service experience and worked in a similar role
- Methodical approach with attention to detail and ability to work to deadlines
- Good level of numeracy and literacy
- Good IT Skills with sound working knowledge of MS Office, particularly Excel
- Good interpersonal skills, both verbal and written
- Flexible approach to working and a team player with a ‘can do’ attitude

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

- Monday to Friday

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Devizes SN10 3EW: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)

**Experience**:

- Finance Department: 1 year (preferred)
- credit control: 1 year (preferred)
- Debt Relief & Collection Occupations: 1 year (preferred)
