**Main Purpose of Job**:
Join our dynamic assembly line team as a Production Operative, playing a vital role in the manufacturing of cash counting scales. You will contribute to the production process by performing various tasks, including assembly, inspection, testing, packing, and ensuring quality standards are met. As a Production Operative, you will rotate through different assembly line duties, fostering a versatile skill set.
**Key Tasks / Main Duties**:
- Assembling products on the production line with precision.
- Operating and maintaining tools and equipment to ensure efficiency.
- Ensuring correct assembly and meeting quality standards.
- Conducting quality checks on products before advancing to the next stage.
- Testing the functionality of finished goods.
- Packing finished products and sub-assemblies securely.
- Maintaining a clean and organized assembly line workspace.
- Reporting issues promptly to the Production Manager.
- Following safety procedures and wearing appropriate safety gear.
- Documenting accurate production records manually.
- Adhering to operational procedures and production timelines.
- Lifting objects (up to 20kg) and working at elevated heights.
- Collaborating with team members on the assembly line.
- Assisting with month-end stock checks as directed by the warehouse supervisor.
- Effective interaction with other departments, including repairs, warehouse, technical, and quality.
**Skills Required**:
- Excellent attention to detail and precision.
- Manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination.
- Ability to work with delicate components.
- Adaptability to a fast-paced environment.
- Strict adherence to safety procedures and guidelines.
- Physical fitness, strength, and dexterity.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new processes and procedures.
**Qualifications / Experience**:
- Fluent in English.
- Prior experience in manufacturing or assembly line work is advantageous but not essential.
- Forklift driving license is preferred but not essential.
- Soldering experience is beneficial but not essential.
- AOI (Automated Optical Inspection) experience is advantageous but not essential.
- Basic computer experience is a plus.
