Sales, Events, Marketing Manager
We are delighted to be opening our newest Florist in Chester and we are on the hunt for an incredible individual to join our management team. Opening a new site is a unique opportunity to be involved right from the beginning of forming a new team, experiencing all the exciting challenges that come with a brand-new venue, whilst starting your journey with us.
This role is key to our company, ensuring that our latest site is put on the map. We open softly taking care not to overfill our venue, focussing on delivering an outstanding experience for all our guests, while our team grow becoming experts in their roles. However, we need you to be proactive and build relationships in the locality ensuring everyone knows we have landed in Chester
As part of your role we will need you to become the face of the business so building and establishing relationships within the community will come naturally to you. Alongside this, you’ll be leading and developing the reservations team to ensure all reservations inclusive of events, private hire and occasions are delivered to our standards. Furthermore, maintaining our social presence with exciting and engaging content will be a high focus to build brand awareness and drive bookings
**Responsibilities**:
- Ensure every guest interaction is ultra-positive and with the intention of getting them to have a return visit
- Build relationships with new, existing, and regular guests to gain custom
- Effectively manage incoming enquiries, whether that’s through telephone, website, social media, third party and/or in person.
- Host and coordinate reservations and events alongside the operational team
- Ensure that deposits are collated for relevant bookings, key campaigns and/or events.
- Ensure Sales and Reservations audit is carried out each shift
- Analyse all guest requirements and recommend suitable options to confirm all reservations
- Upsell pre-booked packages or experiences where necessary to meet pre-set team targets.
- Ensure all relevant pre-orders are delivered to the kitchen team in a timely manner
- Ensure all guests are welcomed into our sites in a safe, positive, and engaging manner
- Ensure all reservations; occasion bookings, private dining spaces and events are set up appropriately prior to guest arrival
- Devise your own events and put forwards ideas for them
- Strong focus on social media for our site
- Recruit Hosts (sales and reservations coordinators) to join your team
