**Job Title**: Carer Support Adviser (South) Essex

**Salary**: £22,571 per annum

**Contract**: Permanent

**Hours**: 37 hours per Week

**Location**: South Essex Flexible - Community Working in the South Essex Locality, co-location with Health Settings and home working At Carers First, we understand that caring can be hard, but believe getting the right help shouldn’t be.

We work directly with and for, unpaid carers to provide personalised information, advice, and support. Making it easier for those caring for someone else to continue living their lives to the fullest. We are currently seeking a Carer Support Adviser to join our team in South Essex.

The requirements of the role will include managing conversations with carers to identify need; providing information, advice, and wellbeing support; and pro-active identification of carers through partnership working. To be successful you will have experience of working with adults either in a 1:1 or group setting, a working knowledge of health and social care particularly in relation to adults and have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

A high standard of written skills is needed in order to help the carer identify their support needs.
