We are looking for applicants who be willing to work at the Epsom, primarily during term time.

You will provide professional counselling and wellbeing services to the students at the University as part of the integrated Academic Services. The work will normally be one-to-one and face-to-face, but the provision of online, telephone and group work will be required, and the post holder should have experience in this area.

You will also advise students on obtaining help and support to enable them to succeed with their studies as well as refer students appropriately on to other services inside or outside the University when necessary.

Applicants will need to hold a recognised qualification in counselling or psychotherapy, be currently registered/accredited with a relevant professional body (e.g. BACP, UKCP, BPS), and have experience of delivering counselling in an institutional setting.

If successfully appointed the postholder will be required to undertake an Enhanced Disclosure & Barring Scheme (DBS) check.

The actual salary for this position will be £14,552 - £16,860 per annum.
