Groundworker

Civil Engineering Crew ltd is a recruitment agency, specialised in the Civil Engineering and Construction sectors. To complement and strengthen our client’s team, we are looking for Groundworkers to join the High Speed 2 project (HS2) based in the West Midlands.

**Key Responsibilities**

Good level of experience in general groundworks. Experience in the site preparation for bases, foundations, and trenches. Drainage, kerbing and slabbing.

Expected to carry out any tasks assigned by overseeing Foreman with regards to safety, working to method statements and work plans.

**Job Requirements**

We are looking for you to have as a minimum:

- CSCS (required - NO GQA cards)
- CPCS A09 & A31 or equivalent NPORS (required)
- NVQ level 2 groundworks (preferred)
- Any additional plant machinery qualification (advantageous)
- Experience as a Groundworker on large civils sites (required)
- Driving licence (preferred)
- HS2 card (advantageous)
- Safety Critical Medical certificate SEQOHS (advantageous)

**Physical Working Environment**:
Operatives are required to work outside on a construction site in any weather conditions that are deemed safe.
