**PART TIME HOUSEKEEPER / CLEANER**

**Location: Worthing**

**Salary: £9.98 per hour**

**Hours: Sat & Sunday (8 hours per week)**

In this exciting new role, you’ll be providing a housekeeping service that is non-intrusive and aids in the comfort and recovery of all clients.

**Main duties of the Housekeeper**:

- The post holder will be required to carry out cleaning, bed making and laundry duties
- Establish and follow effective work schedules in conjunction with admissions and departures from the clinic
- Perform duties using the correct method, equipment and materials for the task
- Ensure your own personal safety as well as that of other members of staff, service users and public by following Health and Safety procedures
- Follow the department COSHH (Control of Substances Hazardous to Health) policies and procedures
- Adhere to Infection prevention and control policies, procedures and best practice as specified by the Health and Safety legislation and organisational policy and procedure
- Ensure all cleaning equipment and materials are stored and used safely according to Health & Safety, organisational policies and procedures. Complete all daily, weekly or monthly records and file these accordingly
- Complete and up-date all mandatory training programmes
- Ensure an acceptable level of personal conduct and adhere to organisational policies
- Undertake such other duties as may be reasonably required by the Line Manager and/or the Senior Management Team or Directors

**Desirable criteria**:

- Experience in a similar role
- Certificate in food handling and hygiene awareness
- Previous experience in Housekeeping role

**Job Types**: Part-time, Permanent
Part-time hours: 8 per week

**Salary**: £9.98 per hour

Schedule:

- Day shift
- Weekends only

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Worthing, West Sussex: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
